Maison Kenzi - Tuareg jewelry from the Sahara

The Tuareg give rings to each other as a sign of affection, usually between men and women. They are fashioned out of silver, sometimes from melted down European coins. The European influence carries over into the design as well: some designs seem to have come from the symbols on playing cards. The rings show a wide range of styles from large bold pieces to delicate ones with intricate designs.
